Douglas Campbell

Douglas is a building conservation professional with over thirty years of experience contributing to, and delivering built heritage activity through roles in the private, public and third sector.

With qualifications in architecture, architectural conservation and urban regeneration, Douglas has worked for a conservation architect, provided specialist conservation advice to local authorities and a National Park and initiated, managed and delivered the activities of Aberdeen City Heritage Trust, from its establishment in 2004 until 2026.
He is Secretary of the Scotland Branch of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), has been an IHBC membership assessor and has helped organise IHBC training and events, including its Annual School.
