Introduction to the COVID Historic Environment Resilience Forum (CHERF), and how to plan for venue reopening.

CHERF is a collaborative project drawing on intelligence from attendees on the medium to long term issues arising from COVID-19 for Scotland’s heritage. A framework has been scoped and is available on BEFS website here.

As lockdown lifts many venues are planning how they will manage re-opening, and part of this session will be hearing from asset holders with advanced planning and advice on where to get further guidance. Dr David Mitchell, Director of Conservation at Historic Environment Scotland will be sharing their plans.
