Project title: Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership (TGLP)

TGLP is a £3.6m National Lottery Heritage funded programme to regenerate the Tomintoul and Glenlivet area over 4 years to 2020. It is delivering 20 projects on:

  • Improving heritage by restoring, conserving and enhancing natural and built heritage features such as Scalan Mills, Blairfindy Castle, Dark Skies and the Water Environment.
  • Learning about heritage by providing opportunities for people to develop new skills and to record and research the natural and cultural heritage of the area through a Training and Education programme, and projects on Archaeology and Oral history.
  • Engaging with heritage by providing better access to our area’s rich heritage, and through inspiring interpretation such as the development of the Discovery Centre, holding events and marketing the area to visitors.
